Mia (Day 3)

After spending one night on Genesis.

If anyone has watched Star Trek 2 and 3, then they will be familiar with the Genesis planet. The planet that grows life at amazing speeds! When I saw Mia on the morning of Day 3, I thought she used her "get out of jail free" card and spent the night on Genesis! Especially as I thought that her hair, fingers and feet had changed a lot.

She slept well and in the morning of Day 3 I took this photo.

Day 3 was much better than Day 2. Ikumi was feeling much better and she was able to move. Also Mia wasn't as sick and I even saw her first smile! Ikumi's parents also came to support us and her mum gave me some advice on how to hold Mia.

We spoke to my Dad via Skype on my iphone. Even though Mia can't see very well, she could follow the sound of my Dad's voice whenever my Dad talked. Also Ikumi and Mia were able to spend a lot of time sleeping together. Both of them looked really peaceful when they slept.
