I'm writing this entry from my iPhone, so forgive any stylistic errors.
Day 4 was probably the toughest for Ikumi and I as little Mia cried a lot during the night, so neither of us got any sleep. Also the hospital staff kept coming into our room at all times, so all 3 of us would wake up. Those times made me think of all those cartoons and movies where the baby is finally put to sleep, but then something suddenly wakes the baby up for more crying. That's real life people!
The funniest thing that I like about Mia when she cries is that her bottom lip shakes like if she was a little fish quickly breathing for air :-) I went swimming this morning and as i was under water i remembered Mia's bottom lip.. However it made me laugh and so I gulped in a mouthful of pool water. Looks like Mia had the last laugh.
however hearing her cry uncontrollably makes me sad. I know that its her way of communication and a cry can mean anything. It doesnt mean that she sad. She might be bored or wanting me to read another Curious George story. Once she settles down she becomes peaceful and she is no problem.
For some reason I can't upload photos from my iPhone to my blog, however I updated my facebook page today with photos taken from day 4 and 5. That's all for now, just a short entry for today.
