Mia is two weeks old

As the days go past, little Mia gets older, but stays little :-)

Mia has started to suck her thumb

Mia still likes to sleep a lot, and she is drinking a lot of milk. She still cries A LOT and goes crazy whenever she gets hungry - I'll protect her honor by not showing those photos :-)

 

When Mia is crying her heart out, I like to pick her up and try to explain to her to relax - everything going to be ok. Once in a while she listens to me and suddenly stops crying. She then just stares at me. However she then quickly forgets my words of wisdom and starts to cry again.

It's true that babies will keep you up all day/night, however it is worth it. Little Mia is too cute for words and she makes the best baby sounds when she sleeps. She also voluntarily or involuntarily smiles a lot and that totally makes my day

The only sad thing is that I can only see her and Ikumi at the weekends only. Both of them are staying with Ikumi's parents as they need help during the day. I went to visit them last weekend, but leaving them is akin to the same feeling of leaving loved ones at the airport. I'm already looking forward to next weekend.
