Mia is one week old

On May 6th, Mia became one week old and both Ikumi and Mia left the hospital. Below is Mia in her "leaving the hospital clothes" (Yes I know that her clothes are too big!).

Mia is doing well, except whenever its feeding time she still likes to cry A LOT. However afterwards she quickly calms down and goes back to sleep.

Ikumi and Mia will stay at Ikumi's parents house for 1 month. As I can't get any paternity leave (no thing exists in Japan) Ikumi's parents will help to look after her and Mia. However the journey to her parents house takes about 90 minutes by car, so I will be visiting them at the weekends. I'm sad that I won't be able to see either of them on a daily basis, however Ikumi and I have "facetime" on our iphones so we can see and talk with each other that way. Also I will try to go and see them once during the week after I finish work.

So I won't have any new Mia photos during the week. However here are a couple more that I took today and yesterday.
